Rumor has it that Kim & Andrew threw the "wedding of the season" in Gadsden, Alabama this past May. Of course, we were honored to be a part of the festivities! But before I forget, let me start off by acknowledging the amazing work of Kathy G and company who were responsible for all things pretty-pretty that you see here! Kathy was accompanied by the amazing team at M Elizabeth Events, also out of Birmingham, Alabama. (Side note: my Meg is a big fan of the M Elizabeth Events blog - which is packed full of tons of great wedding planning advice and inspiration.) Ladies - thank you for creating all of this stunning eye candy for us to photograph! |

The picturesque backdrop of the Gadsden Country Club was a fitting ceremony location for our golf enthusiast groom and his beautiful bride.

Meet Kim... I particularly love that this was shot with no direction, taken when Kim glanced back as she was heading towards the ceremony site. The umbrella covering one eye perfectly was a lovely surprise.

Isn't this setting just lovely?

No golf course wedding is complete without a little putting to start things off right!

The food display and variety was exquisite and went on for days. Then, just when you thought they couldn't have possibly come up with one more thing - in the last hour of the reception, wait staff passed mini corn-dogs and sliders out to the guests on the dance floor! (Hello, genius!) It was complete culinary lavishness and arguably the most original and creative menu we've ever seen. Here's just a tiny glimpse...

Kim added a personal touch to so many areas of the reception by incorporating a custom monogram and introducing a signature color throughout her event design - down to this very cute signature drink.

A true Southern Bride, Kim looooves monograms!

Kim and Andrew chose to keep the dance floor hopping with a true "big band' experience. Meg & I love when couples select a versatile band that can cater to all age groups and several genres of music - ensuring your friends AND your grandparents have some music they can groove to. Including all of your guests in the festivities earns this couple *another* Smarty Pants Award.

Rollin' (rollin'), rolling on the river...

Congratulations you two! We couldn't be more thrilled that you found us and invited us to be a part of your fantastic day.
