2 of 3 - Bridal dresses...

Renee of Two Fishes Artistry completed Jessica's flawless look.

LOVED how fun and relaxed their whole family was in front of the camera.

Just a few quick grab shots by the window before she was whisked away to get hitched.

Ah, there he is! Meet Sri. Don't they look so cute together?!

It was so cute, as the parents processed, their guests all clapped! I had never seen it before, but it was so spontaneous and genuine - LOVE IT! I especially like Jessica's dad waving to his 'fans'!

LOVE the furbabies - Jessica + Sri are the proud parents of these tiny participants, who served as His + Her ringbearers!

This series even had Charles all misty-eyed behind the lens...

The 'event deck' (that's what we call it!) at The Emerald Grande is a lovely spot for an outdoor wedding in Destin, FL.

I suppose this was technically the first married kiss - spontaneous and tender - see them clapping in the back?! It was the most genuine and heartfelt display I think I have ever witnessed. Gives me (good) chills just thinking about it.

This dog was KILLING me! Love the tongue, too.

Check out the little ring bearers in action!

Sri gave Jessica the most stunning necklace following his ring exchange.

Some yummy and lovely details.

Loving the peacock feathers at each place setting - how easy would this be to recreate for a nice dinner party at home? I'm *so* swiping that idea.

More cheering - I just love that.

Some of the best. toasts. ever.

Jessica's sister asked that now her sister was married, would everyone who had a key to Jessica's apartment please return it to the front... here is what followed:

This is a member of the waitstaff :)

Then, she asked that all the ladies who held a key to Sri's bachelor pad come forward... his face when no one came - priceless!

More from the toasting series - I just lov

After dinner, while the cake was being served, they showed a slideshow of their courtship.

This crowd was non-stop energy all night.

This was Jessica's second dress of the evening - seen dancing here with her new Mom.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your picture-perfect day!

Hello there, beloved readers! I hope you enjoy this installment of Three to Share. I'd like to invite you to leave comments or post you own finds and share them with our little community. After all, sharing is caring and 'tis the season, right? :) |

This first topic of discussion was suggested by our lovely Meg! She found this clever company by way of Style Me Pretty. What a brilliant way to carry a theme through a wedding, wouldn't you agree? Raise the Cake is a creative studio that specializes in designing stands that match your event or you can even choose from their Couture Line. Love their cute tagline: Don't make the mistake of forgetting to raise your cake!
No truer words have ever been spoken. ;) |

Do you love Podcasts like I do?! What's not to love? They're free, informative, portable and... um... FREE! There's literally a Podcast for everyone. My personal favorites involve food, travel, design and quick tips on anything from grammar to manners!
Podcasts are like talk radio stations you can subscribe to and are great to listen to while commuting to work, cleaning the house or even working out. You can learn another language, tour museums, catch up on the news of the world or your favorite T.V. show. They're fantastic. I highly recommend them! |

I have an absolute love affair with holiday movies: Home Alone, Love Actually, Scrooged, The Holiday, 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' ... just to name a few. I do watch them year-round and then go into marathon-mode after Thanksgiving!
One of my all-time favorites is Mixed Nuts. It was a little movie that I don't think got a whole lot of hype back in 1994. But somehow my cousin, Whitney, discovered it and it's been a family tradition ever since. If you haven't seen or heard of it, the plot is basically this, as put by IMDB: Christmas Eve in Venice Beach, California. A serial strangler is on the loose. A crisis hotline, staffed by three inept counselors, faces eviction. Each of the three is lovelorn. They and their non-profit program need a miracle. Stars Steve Martin, Rita Wilson, the late great Madeline Kahn, Juliette Lewis, Adam Sandler, Anthony LaPaglia and a very different Liev Schreiber. Check it out, I hope you love it as much as I do! |
