Jamie over at Marry Me at the Beach has been kind enough to feature another one of our weddings this week - well, I say 'our' weddings, but this one is all mine! I flew solo at this intimate & sweet wedding - you can check out the nautical goodness here:

Thanks for checking in today - we'll have another feature to share with you in just a bit!

We've been away from the office this past week with travel - but we want to catch y'all up to speed this Monday with some lovely features that were posted in the blogosphere during our absence. First up is the too-good-for-words bridal session of Annette at the family farm in Donalsonville, GA. We *just* shared her beautiful wedding with you - but this is the first peek at our very favorite bridal session to date! You'll have to head over to Pretty Little Weddings to see the surprise shoot location that we won't be sharing here today. So run, don't walk - and see where Annette wound up at the end of our time together!

Many thanks to Jillian at Pretty Little Weddings for featuring my very favorite thing last week! You made vacation *even* sweeter! :)

On a bit of a side note, I have to say that the first page of our blog is looking pretty shabby - what with no photo posts right now and all... So, I figured I'd share a few additional images from my favorite shoot ever - stuff you won't see anywhere else but here! (Of course, I'm leaving out the end of the shoot because - well - you just have to visit the feature on Pretty Little Weddings for that goodness...)

Yessir, that's a cotton bouquet (which is a HUGE hint about our surprise shoot location, btw!)

Now, you really must go and see the rest (not to mention the best!) over at Pretty Little Weddings :)

Today our friends over at the oh-so-fabulous Style Me Pretty launched a new extension of their local blogs series; while several new locations were unveiled today - we are most excited about the addition of Style Me Pretty Georgia. We were delighted when Abby wrote us last week to let us know that she wanted to feature Annette & Alex's Donalsonville wedding as the FIRST post ever on their brand new blog (!!!) - and we are even more overjoyed to see it all go live today! Be sure to check out the post and then spend some time looking through the entire gallery - this is a Southern wedding at it's finest!

Our bride, Annette, shared the following words about her wedding day:

To quote the immortal Steel Magnolias, “my colors are blush and bashful.” I knew since I was a little girl that I wanted a Shelby Eatonton, pink, Southern backyard extravaganza when I got married. Our wedding day was more than I could have ever dreamed of (particularly my sweet, handsome groom in his Air Force tuxedo).

Alex and I got married in my hometown of Donalsonville, and the out-of-town guests got a taste of South Georgia at its finest. My wonderful parents hosted the reception in their garden. I think my mother worked for a year and a half straight, and it paid off. Her garden is gorgeous! Guests pulled up to our yard and were greeted by spiked sweet tea, Georgia peach sangria, and lemonade under our ancient oak tree, which was be-decked with sparkly chandeliers. The small-town details peeked out everywhere, from family photos to my grandmother’s chest of drawers in the outdoor living room.

We dined al fresco in the front yard on Southern fare (including fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, chicken salad, macaroni and cheese), and then we went to the the back yard for some dancing, cake, and liquid refreshments. Some guests stayed warm with kegs of beer and bonfires, while others boogied on the dance floor. Unfortunately, we don’t have any photographs of the entire wedding party’s epic cake fight and swim in the pool (yes, I ended up in the pool in my dress). The night ended perfectly at 3 am, when Daddy chased everybody off with a shotgun!

I mean, how great is that?! Check out the blog post here and then see the entire gallery over here.

Thanks to Abby & Co over at Style Me Pretty for the honor of being your very first Georgia local wedding!

Today I am so thrilled to share that we've had two new weddings featured out in the blogosphere! First up is the Florida destination wedding of Missy & Trevor at the Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island featured today over at Destination Inspirations. Editor Jess had this to say about Missy & Trevor's big day:

"Amelia Island, it’s just beautiful even to say. A hidden Florida gem with thirteen miles of white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. There are a variety of upscale resorts, cute bed and breakfast’s and a destination with lots of historic charm. Missy and Trevor chose the gorgeous Ritz Carlton Hotel for their destination wedding venue. The Ritz did an amazing job with the setup and the beautiful beach at sunset made for a stunning ceremony setting. Teal blues and whites decorated the reception space, the piece de resistance was the amazing candy bar. Photographer’s Meg and husband Charles Baisden, the visionaries behind Meg Baisden Photography were the talents that captured this incredible destination wedding. These two have a way of capturing the beautiful soft light and those melt your heart moments. Missy looked incredible and elegant, Trevor perfectly complimented his bride. It’s another wonderful day here on Destination Inspirations filled with eye candy."

Our summer press tour rolls on... this time with the engagement session of Brittany + Skylar. Erin, the owner & editor of wedding blog {A Lowcountry Wedding}, emailed us this morning to share the good news: "I'm a sucker for great lighting, even better photography and a few pups :) and I know everyone is going to love it."
