As I was wrapping up our 2010 flashback posts, I have to admit that I kinda patted myself on the back for catching the blog up on all of our way-old work. (I know two or three years isn't way-old, but in terms of current events - it's ANCIENT.) So, while I was basking in my accomplishment and mentally preparing to begin sharing our 2012 season - a sense of panic crept in...
Was I missing something? I'd already blogged all of 2011, right? I mean, of course I had - but man, I didn't want to miss anyone and create hurt feelings. I sat down with our 2011 calendar ready to set my mind at ease. You know what's coming, of course. Yup - I managed to post exactly ZERO images from our 2011 season. How is that even possible?! Blame it on my nine month blog hiatus - I sure do... I did manage to link to three blog features in 2011 - those shoots might ring a (tiny) bell. Other than those teasers, I've got a whole ton of never-before-seen goodness. So, there you have it. Welcome back, 2011. It's almost like we never left you.

Long time blog readers might remember our flashback series where we posted some of our older work that (up to that point) had never been shared publicly. While the flashback series offered us seemingly endless amounts of content, it became tedious having to download entire archived weddings to the harddrive to create those posts. With the relaunch of our blogging efforts, I've had to ask myself whether I really want to let go of the two years of unshared work or if I should try to continue the flashback series until we are finally 'caught up.' What I've decided to try (for now, anyway) is a month-by-month overview, with a handful of highlights from key events. That way y'all still get to see what we were up to during that time, I get to fulfill my goal of "journaling" our work, and some really lovely couples can finally get some blog love!
